Like any other 'problem' area on your body, there are a few tried and true ways to tone or slim or build. In every blog, you will hear me repeat the four basic health improvement techniques, eat right, increase your level of activity and add proper (gender, metabolic and age-based) supplements. These three techniques will improve your chances of success.

Now to the question at hand. Toning your triceps can be quite easy if you put in the appropriate amount of time and effort. Remember, nothing comes easy and thus, you will have to dedicate yourself to this journey. The Cable Tricep Extension with Rope is one of the best exercises to tone the back of your arms. This is how you do it:

1. Set up for the cable tricep extension with rope by first, attaching a rope to a high pulley and selecting the weight you want to use on the stack. Make sure to adjust the height to a comfortable position for you.
2. While keeping your back straight and leaning slight forward, grab the rope with a neutral grip (your palms facing each other) at about shoulder width apart.
3. Keep your upper arms straight and tucked in close to your body. Your forearms should be around parallel to the floor lifting the weight slightly off the stack. This is the starting position.
4. Push the rope downward moving only at your elbows. Continue pushing until your arms are fully extended and each side of the rope is down beside your thighs.
5. Pause for a moment and then slowly return the weight to the starting position.
6. Repeat for desired reps.
7. That's one rep - Do between 10 and 15 reps for 3 or 4 sets
